| Lyndon Roberts laid the foundations for the success story of Motorworld in 1982. Starting with five employees he led the business with the "Reliable vehicles at affordable prices with a really different service" and it worked. |

| In 1993 his son, Kelvin Roberts , joined
the business to support his father. Together they continued the success story so it became necessary to look for a new site with more space to fulfill the company’s philosophy. In 1997 they moved into their new building at No 239 Voortrekker Road, Parow. Today the company employs 20 staff members and is still growing. |

| Motorworld also now has 25 years of German expertise in their new partner, Klaus Laubinger to help fulfil the simple philosophy introduced by Lyndon Roberts 23 years ago. "Reliable vehicles at affordable prices" and "Service that really makes the difference" |
